Dennzon Winley is a native of Georgetown, SC, and received a BA in International Studies from the University of South Carolina in 2017. At Carolina, he was active in a wide range of activities. He was involved in student government and served as a page in the SC Senate, intern to the SC House Democratic Caucus, and fellow through the Les Aspin Center in Washington, DC, where he worked in the office of Congressman James Clyburn. Following graduation, Dennzon was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sierra Leone, West Africa, where he taught English and government courses. He is currently a teaching assistant in Versailles, France.
An avid reader, Dennzon is a consumer of both English and French books in history and politics. Outside of reading, Dennzon loves to travel and volunteer with organizations that serve disadvantaged youth.
